For employers: begin with the brief

Tell us why you are hiring, what the person will do and how you will recognise success. We discuss responsibilities, essential skills, salary, location, working pattern and your timetable. A clear brief helps us decide whether we can support the search and gives candidates useful information about the role.

Agree the service and next steps

Before a search starts, we agree the support, terms and communication arrangements with you. Fees and any replacement or refund provisions must be set out in the agreed terms; this page does not create a guarantee. Tell us who can approve the brief, arrange interviews and make an offer so decisions have a clear route.

For candidates: share what you are looking for

You can register your interest even when no vacancy is advertised. Explain your preferred work, relevant experience, location and working pattern. Use the CV upload form for one PDF or Word document up to 10 MB. Leave out identity documents, bank details and information unnecessary for an initial enquiry.

Discuss a relevant opportunity

If we can discuss a potentially suitable role, we will explain the requirements and ask about your experience, motivations and practical needs. Ask questions about the work and recruitment stages. We will discuss relevant next steps with you; registration itself does not guarantee a vacancy, interview or placement.

Prepare for interviews and feedback

The interview format, any assessment and the people involved should be clear in advance. Candidates can use our interview preparation guide and request an adjustment. Employers should agree how feedback will be shared and who will communicate decisions. References and specialist checks are agreed for the particular role.

When an offer goes ahead

Where a placement proceeds, discuss the proposed terms, start date and any outstanding arrangements. Candidates should review the written offer and raise questions before accepting. Employers should clarify induction, the first point of contact and early expectations. The exact recruitment support is defined by the terms agreed for the search.
